MEET OUR BRAND FOUNDER

ELEXSIS CALISKAN

Elexsis, despite having a substantial background in beauty and no prior experience in hospitality, ventured into one idea only to find her path taking an entirely different direction. As a newlywed and an atheist who became a follower of Jesus, she encountered the vibrant food scene in Old Town Scottsdale. Armed with the ambition to revolutionize her relationship with food and the culture she encountered in Scottsdale, Elexsis embarked on a new journey, and a new calling of leadership. Emre & Elexsis reside in Peoria, and love working on Mon Chéri everyday.

I may hold the title “brand founder”, but the true founder is Mon Chéri, My Dear, My Love, My Lord, My Savior, Jesus Christ.

The 'cherable' food concept celebrates charing meals and cultural heritage, inspired by generations of immigrants. It's about enjoying meals together, like girlfriends charing bites from each other's plates, and honoring recipes passed down through families. At Mon Chéri, we create meals meant to be chared, making dinners more joyful and bringing people closer together with a mix of flavors and traditions.

We are a diverse group comprised of first, second, and third-generation immigrants, united in our mission to challenge traditional food choices and transform the culinary landscape by modernizing our cuisine. Our backgrounds are varied and rich, spanning beauty, hospitality, marketing, events, and technology. This diversity makes us unique and fuels our excitement to revolutionize how we think about our food.
