Born in Mardin, Turkey, Ozkan grew up in a small village near the country’s eastern border. At just 13 years old, he moved to Istanbul, where his culinary journey began. In 2018, he relocated to Dubai to further refine his skills, completing extensive training in both Dubai and Qatar over a six-year period.
A visit to the United States proved to be a life-changing experience for Ozkan. Drawn by the vibrant energy of Miami Beach, he eventually found his way to Scottsdale, where a blend of faith and fate led him to Mon Cheri. Today, we take pride in our nearly all-Turkish kitchen, featuring six talented Turkish chefs led by the exceptional Chef Ozkan.
